This webpage is dedicated to the ongoing preservation and restoration of a Mitsubishi FTO Limited Edition GPX, released in April 1995 to commemorate Mitsubishi winning the “Car of the Year Japan” award for the 1994-95 year.

Just 207 of the GPX Limited Edition were ever produced (20 manuals + 187 autos), making it one of the rarest and most desirable models of the entire FTO range.

What makes the GPX Limited Edition unique aside from the magic reference HRGH2 on the chassis plate? The Car of the Year “COTY” had commemorative C-pillar badges, a Limited Slip Differential (LSD) and rear wiper as standard and most importantly that lovely Dandelion Yellow paintwork.
